Relational Goods in Society, Mind and Brain: Between Neurons and HappinessUniversity of Bologna This article examines the term relational goods as defined by the American economist Carole J. Uhlaner, and how this term may be used to express a link between economy and psychology. The conflict between quality and quantity is discussed, and how this conflict relates to psychological disciplines, especially in terms of cost effectiveness in psychological treatments, and with reference to works of the great philosophers as well as those in our own discipline.
