Social Brain and Social Group: How Mirroring Connects PeopleInstitute of Group Analysis At the Bologna 2002 THE ECONOMY OF THE GROUP conference, we were bringing together apparently unrelated spheres of the human mind: psychodynamic and economic sciences. I shall use the concepts of mirroring and exchange as my contribution to bringing these two spheres together. My research in libraries, such as the London School of Economics, the Tavistock Clinic and the Royal Society of Medicine has brought surprising and rewarding findings to light.
