The Dynamics of Losing and Building Boundaries in an Adolescent GroupPsychoanalytic Institute for Child and Adolescent Therapies, Budapest
Psychoanalytic Institute for Child and Adolescent Therapies, Budapest Regression is a perennial theme in adolescent group therapy and the consequent attacks on boundaries can pose severe technical problems for group leaders in their efforts to remain therapists rather than figures of authority. The authors describe one such group experience and discuss the significance of traumatic early object relations.
