Group Process in the Care of a Child with Kidney Transplant

The authors describe the impact on the staff of a children's inpatient psychiatric ward following admittance of a child with serious physical and psychological illness. They present clinical material from an interpretative psychodynamic group that the child attended, and discuss the psychological impact of kidney transplantation on the child and her family.
